EMDR CONFERENCE COMMITTEE (ECC)

Dear colleagues,

It is with great pleasure and excitement that I reach out to you as the new Chair of the EMDR Europe Conference Committee.

Preparations are already well underway for our next gathering, and I am proud to share that this upcoming event is a true testament to the power of collaboration. This conference is the result of a dedicated team effort, born from the close synergy between the Scientific Committee, the Executive Committee, and our wonderful local hosts, the Norwegian National Association (EMDR Norway). Together, we are crafting a program designed to deepen your expertise and strengthen our professional community.

Following our inspiring gathering in Prague, this year we turn our gaze North to the vibrant city of Oslo. Known for its close connection to nature and its bright summer nights, Oslo offers the perfect setting for clarity and illumination. It is fitting, then, that the theme of our EMDR Europe Workshop Conference 2026 is "Unlocking the Power of AIP."

Just as Norway is home to the Nobel Peace Prize - a symbol of resolving conflict and healing fractures - our work with the AIP model strives to bring internal peace and resolution to those suffering from trauma. From 5-7 June 2026 at the NOVA Spektrum, we will gather to explore the theoretical and clinical depths of the Adaptive Information Processing model, providing you with practical tools to navigate the complex landscapes of therapy.

We look forward to welcoming you to the land of the midnight sun for days of learning, connection, and inspiration.
